These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the services offered by PhD Research Mentor ("we", "us", "our", "the Service"). By engaging our services or making a payment, you agree to these Terms together with our Privacy Policy and Cancellation & Refund Policy.

1. Our services

We provide academic mentorship and editorial support, including research consultation, methodology guidance, literature review assistance, data-analysis guidance, structural and chapter development, language editing and proofreading, formatting and referencing, and originality and language-improvement support. Our services are intended to guide, mentor and support you in producing your own work.

2. Academic integrity — important

Our services are provided for guidance, mentorship and learning purposes only. The final work you submit to your institution or a publisher must represent your own original contribution and intellectual effort. You are solely responsible for complying with the academic-integrity rules, codes of conduct and submission requirements of your university, institution or journal. You agree not to use our services in any way that violates those rules. Editing and originality support is intended to improve clarity, language and correct attribution of your own work — not to misrepresent authorship.

3. Enquiries, scope & quotes

After you share your requirements, we provide a recommended plan, timeline and a written quote. An engagement is confirmed once you accept the quote and the agreed advance payment is received. Any work outside the agreed scope is quoted separately.

4. Fees & payment

  • All fees are in Indian Rupees (INR) and, unless stated otherwise, exclusive of applicable taxes.
  • We require 100% advance payment before work begins.
  • Payments are processed securely through our payment partner, Razorpay. We do not store your card or bank credentials.
  • Journal publication fees are separate and vary by journal.

5. Revisions

Each engagement includes two rounds of revisions on the delivered work, within the original scope. Additional revisions, or changes that expand the scope, are quoted separately.

7. Cancellation & refunds

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Cancellation & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, complete information and materials needed for the work.
  • Respond to queries and revision requests in good time.
  • Ensure you have the right to share any materials you provide to us.
  • Use the deliverables in line with your institution's rules and these Terms.

9. Confidentiality

We keep your project details and materials confidential and use them only to provide the agreed services, as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Intellectual property

On full payment, the deliverables we prepare for you are yours to use for your research, subject to these Terms. You retain ownership of materials you provide to us. We may retain general know-how and methods used to deliver the work.

11. No guarantee of outcomes

We provide professional support with care, but we do not and cannot guarantee any particular academic result — including grades, examiner approval, degree completion, or acceptance/publication by any journal — as these depend on factors outside our control.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or in connection with the services shall not exceed the fee paid by you for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or liability arising from your misuse of the deliverables or your breach of these Terms, including any breach of your institution's academic-integrity rules.

14. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh shall have jurisdiction over any dispute.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date reflects the latest version, which applies to engagements entered into after that date.
