Cancellation & Refund Policy
Last updated: 10 June 2026
This policy explains when an engagement can be cancelled and how refunds are handled. By making a payment, you confirm that you have read and accepted this policy along with our Terms & Conditions.
1. Advance payment
Our services are custom and effort-intensive, and work is reserved for you on confirmation. We therefore require 100% of the fee in advance before work begins.
2. Cancellation by you
- Before work has begun: If you cancel within 24 hours of payment and before we have started work, you are eligible for a refund of the fee paid, less any payment-gateway charges that are non-recoverable.
- After work has begun: Once work has commenced, the fee covers the time and effort already committed and is non-refundable. In place of a refund, the two included rounds of revisions remain available to address concerns with the delivered work.
3. Refunds initiated by us
We will issue a full refund in the following cases:
- A duplicate or accidental payment (for example, you were charged twice for the same order).
- A payment was successfully debited but we are unable to provide the agreed service.
- A failed or erroneous transaction where the amount was deducted but the order was not confirmed.
4. Refund timelines & method
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method through our payment partner, Razorpay. Once approved, refunds are initiated within 5–7 business days. The time for the amount to reflect in your account thereafter depends on your bank or card issuer.
5. How to request a cancellation or refund
Email phdresearchmentor@gmail.com with your name, the email/phone used for the order, the payment reference, and the reason for your request. We acknowledge requests within 48 hours and respond with the outcome and, where applicable, the refund timeline.
6. What this policy does not cover
Refunds are not provided on the basis of academic outcomes — for example, the grade awarded, examiner feedback, or whether a journal accepts a manuscript — as these depend on factors outside our control. Please see our Terms & Conditions for details on the nature and limits of our services.
